Baker went out of her way to ice and sprinkle more of my favorite cookie as they had just sold out of the ones in the case. Very much appreciated! Best cookies I've ever had; I still have orders shipped now that I've moved. I have others try them and it's always their new favorite!

Great day at their Customer Appreciation Day today. Amazing cookies, face painting and balloon animals for the kids, and you could not beat the prices!

This lil cookie shoppe is the best in town, they sell dozen cookies for around $13 or $14 I believe, and sometimes you can get a dozen of day old cookies pretty cheap like half price. Don't quote me exactly on those prices but it was a really good deal and their competition up north doesn't hold a candle to Country Cookie, not in quality, taste and especially not in value. They are 5 times the price.

One of the lovely ladies here recommended the Chocolate Pixie, and wow, she was spot on. I almost crashed my vehicle it was such an explosion of the most mouth-watering, cake-batter cookie taste I've ever experienced. I cannot recommend it enough. The sugar cookie, the standard cookie of any bakery, is simply flawless. It tastes better than a popular crumbling cookie, but won't make a mess in your lap. The frosting is superb. They don't make the frosting super sweetened or overtly flavorful, just enough added moisture and vanilla to help salivate the flavorful cookie around your mouth like a Midwestern thunderstorm of deliciousness.

I don't remember what gas station it was but we were somewhere in or near St Joseph. I tried the carrot cake and banana bread. OMG. The best I've ever tasted. The carrot cake was so light and rich. The icing is creamy and delicious and I hate icing. Great job on both. Wow

I am from out of town and due to the holiday, I was not able to order my cookie cake ahead of time. I called in the morning and asked how long it would take them (thinking I wouldn’t be able to get one), and they told me they would be able to help me out even though it was same day. I spoke with Megan and the lady who decorated the cookie cake (wish I got her name) and the were both so polite and helpful. The cookie cake came out amazing and was so delicious. Highly recommend!

St. Joseph South Belt Highway location, top of a hill, very tall store sign ... hard to miss, and a shame if you don't stop in to sample their baked goods. The interior customer shopping space is very large & brightly lit & attractively laid out, while the bakery counter features LOTS of shop-made cookies & other bakery products (some being prepped when we walked in on a late afternoon weekday). The young lady behind the counter attending to customers was very friendly, and she helped my wife & me in making our split selections of a half-dozen fresh cookies to-go. Sugar Cookies (3 kinds offered), Snickerdoodles, Chocolate Chips, Double Chocolate Chips, Molasses, Oatmeal ... and there were more that we left behind to reduce our calorie & carb intakes for the day and the next day. Country Cookie cookies are superior in quality & flavor and available in greater selections than their corporate chain competitors offer (at noticeably lower prices to boot). We wish we had an outlet near us, but the St. Joseph shop will no doubt draw us back when we are next traveling through Western MO.

My husband likes to go in and buy cookies for when he sees his chiropractors. He will bring another box home for us. I love frosted cookies the best.
